Arcscription

Disclaimer & Transparency

This page explains, in plain language, how Arcscription works, what it is not, and what you should know before minting, trading, or holding any inscription. Please read it in full before using the platform.

1. Contract & Platform Transparency

The ArcInscription mint contract is live on Arc mainnet (chain ID 5042) at 0x78327345bff963236e6e53c5f8fc26ba628db6b7. Minting sends a real transaction and costs real USDC.

The ArcMarketplace contract is also live, at 0x0fe6e525912451cba33254620fafea2eabc530ad. Listing, buying, and making offers all send real transactions signed by your own wallet. Listing is non-custodial — your NFT stays in your wallet until a sale actually completes.

Any third-party security review or audit report we obtain will be published here in full, including unresolved findings if any, along with clear notice whenever the contract, fee structure, or mint mechanics materially change.

Treat any contract address claiming to be "the official Arcscription contract" other than the two addresses listed above as unverified and potentially fraudulent.

2. No Pre-Mint. No Team Allocation.

Arcscription is a fair-launch collection. All 21,000 word inscriptions were generated in advance with fixed metadata (word, rarity, language, power), but none of them are minted, reserved, or pre-assigned to the team, founders, advisors, or any insider before public mint opens. Every single inscription enters the same unminted pool and is only ever claimed through the exact same public mint flow available to everyone else.

The team does not hold a hidden allocation, does not receive inscriptions for free, and does not have early or privileged access to the mint pool. If a team member wants an inscription, they mint it the same way you do, at the same price, from the same random pool, at the same time as the public.

3. Randomness & Fairness of the Mint

When you mint, the ArcInscription contract itself selects which inscription id(s) you receive — you never choose or see the word in advance. Assignment uses an on-chain, gas-efficient random-draw algorithm (a sparse Fisher–Yates shuffle over the remaining unminted pool) seeded from recent block data. The contract code is public and anyone can verify this logic directly.

This is pseudo-randomness, not a cryptographic verifiable-random- function (VRF) oracle. In theory, a sufficiently powerful block producer could attempt to bias which id a given mint call receives. We don't believe there's a realistic financial incentive to do so at this scale, but we're disclosing the limitation plainly rather than overstating the guarantee.

Rarity tiers and their total supply (Genesis, Mythic, Legendary, Epic, Rare, Uncommon, Common) are fixed and fully disclosed on the site before you mint — nothing about the rarity curve is hidden or subject to change once minting begins. The full word/rarity/power list is committed on-chain via a Merkle root at deploy time, so it cannot be altered after the fact.

4. Platform Fees

Arcscription charges a flat 2% platform fee on completed secondary sales (both direct "Buy Now" purchases and accepted offers). The fee is deducted from the seller's proceeds — the buyer always pays exactly the listed or offered price. The exact fee and the net amount a seller will receive are shown before you confirm a listing or accept an offer, and every recorded sale shows the fee that was actually charged. No fee is charged on minting, listing, making an offer, cancelling, or transferring an inscription to another wallet.

5. No Guarantees, No Warranty

The platform, its content, and its data are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that any statistic shown (supply, floor price, volume, leaderboard, etc.) is free of display bugs or delay.

6. Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your own wallet, private keys, and seed phrase. Arcscription will never ask for your private key or seed phrase, and will never DM you first asking you to connect a wallet or claim a "reward." Always verify you are on the correct, official domain before connecting a wallet or signing a transaction.

7. Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this page as the platform evolves — in particular once the Arc network contracts are deployed and the information in Section 1 can be filled in with real addresses and audit links. Material changes will be reflected by an updated revision date below. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised disclaimer.

Last updated: mint and marketplace trading are both live on Arc mainnet.

8. Risks & Not Financial or Investment Advice

Nothing on this website, in our documentation, or in any communication from the Arcscription team constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Inscriptions are digital collectibles, not securities, shares, or investment contracts. Any decision to mint, buy, sell, or hold an inscription is made entirely at your own discretion and at your own risk.

Prices shown on the marketplace are set freely by users and can go up or down without limit. Past activity, floor price, trading volume, or leaderboard rankings are not indicators of future performance and should never be treated as a guarantee of value or liquidity.

Beyond price risk, please also keep the following in mind:

  • Market risk. The value of an inscription is whatever another user is willing to pay for it. It can fall to zero, and there may be no buyer at any price.
  • Smart contract risk. Once deployed, on-chain contracts can contain bugs or be subject to exploits despite testing and audits. Interacting with any smart contract carries inherent technical risk.
  • Regulatory risk. The legal treatment of digital collectibles varies by jurisdiction and may change. You are responsible for determining whether minting, holding, or trading inscriptions is lawful where you live.
  • Irreversibility. Once the platform moves on-chain, blockchain transactions (including transfers, sales, and accepted offers) are expected to be final and cannot be reversed by the Arcscription team.
  • No guaranteed roadmap. Any future feature, integration, or utility we discuss is a statement of current intent, not a promise. Plans can change or be cancelled.
